June 4: Target Date For Nevada Gaming To Restart

Governor Sisolak has targeted June 4 as the date when Nevada's gaming could restart.  In a series of tweets Friday afternoon, the Governor also says he plans a news conference to discuss moving into Phase 2 of the state's "roadmap to recovery".

The state gaming control board holds a meeting on Tuesday.  The Governor says if the trends on the coronavirus hold in Nevada, gaming operators could be opening their doors prior to the first weekend in June.

The Governor's office has not declared a start time for Tuesday's briefing.  We will broadcast it live on News-Talk 840 KXNT.
