The rumor is that the official “Snooki is pregnant” announcement will happen on the Jersey Shore reunion show the week after the season 5 finale. Now it is becoming evident that she is engaged!!! We have picture proof!

People magazine is reporting now that Snooks has been photographed with an engagement ring on her left ring finger. There are also **rumors** that she loaned her boyfriend, Jionni the money to buy her ring. Yikes! As soon we get a confirmation on this, we’ll let you know!

Justin Bieber broke a world record on his birthday, and ended up in the Guiness Book Of World Records!

Obviously, a big part of this is thanks to KLUC listeners who used our site to link to his Facebook page on his birthday, but Justin Bieber’s 18th birthday was significant because his fans set the Guinness World Record for most social media messages sent within 24 hours. Good job Beliebers!

Oh those crazy Ruskies…..a report from Russia, an unnamed man was practicing martial arts techniques with a friend at a party. He claimed his ab muscles were so strong that a knife couldn’t penetrate them. To prove it, he fetched a big kitchen knife and asked his guest to stab him in the stomach. The guest refused, saying he was afraid he’d kill him. But his host claimed he’d been involved with martial arts as a child and had knifeproof abs, so he insisted. The host is now hospitalized with a serious stomach wound. His guest was charged with causing serious bodily injury and could get up to eight years in prison. And, BTW, yes, alcohol was involved.

More proof that smoking can kill you. Today, we head to North Carolina, where resident Gary Allen Banning was parting at a friend’s house when he reportedly mistook a jar of gasoline for a beverage. Personnally, I think he mistook it for some moonshie. Witnesses say he took a gulp, then quickly realized his mistake and spit it out. Unfortunately, investigators say Banning went outside to smoke a cigarette a few minutes later and burst into flames. He didn’t survive. SMOKING KILLS.

Justin Bieber’s Mom To Publish Inspirational Memoir

While Bieber’s history growing up in low-income housing in Ontario is well-documented, his mother’s stories of drug addiction and teenage pregnancy are less well known. But that will change in the fall when Pattie Mallette, Justin Bieber’s mother, publishes her memoir: Nowhere but Up : The Story of Justin Bieber’s Mom.

In Nowhere but Up, Mallette discusses in detail becoming addicted to drugs and alcohol, losing her faith, attempting suicide, and getting pregnant at age 18. But hers is a redemptive tale and the book’s description indicates that you can expect a happy ending, promising, “For those who feel unlovable, there’s always love. And for those who believe they’re a lost cause, there’s always room for another chance.”

The memoir will be released by Revelle Books, a Christian publisher.

Rihanna “Battleship” Poster Unveiled

Battleship the movie won’t hit theaters until May 18, but a new promotional poster featuring Rihanna surfaced on the Internet today. Rihanna plays a naval officer and the poster puts her toned, bare arms on display along with a sleeve of tattoos and looking very much like a hard working servicewoman.

This is Rihanna’s first movie and while director Peter Berg may enjoy her music videos, he said not to expect any of that in Battleship. “There are no red wigs and high heels…she’s in great shape. She’s got short brown hair. She looks like hundreds of women that I met that really serve in the Navy,” Berg said. “She’s just very real and natural and does a great job. And generally people don’t even know that it’s her when they first see her in the film.”

Rihanna has only a small part in the official movie trailer, but is featured prominently in the promotional spot for Battleship that premiered during the Superbowl. If it is any indication, you can expect not only firearm but hand-to-hand combat against a team of aliens bent on taking control of her battleship.

E! News is saying that Whitney Houston‘s death will be ruled an accident. Of course, they’re basing that on information from, quote, “a source with knowledge of the ongoing investigation.”

Although it’s not really much of a stretch to say that. It’s what pretty much everyone has assumed since Whitney was found dead in her bathroom on February 11th.

Snooki IS Pregnant?!?!??!?!

Though earlier this month she denied pregnancy rumors, reports say Snooki is, in fact, expecting her first child. SAY WHAT?!?!?

The Jersey Shore supa star is roughly three months pregnant, and the baby’s father is her boyfriend, Jionni LaValle, according to the New York Post.

While the New York Post source suggests Snooki is trying to parlay the pregnancy into lucrative marketing deals, it remains unclear how or if her condition will factor into Jersey Shore or a recently announced spinoff show starring Snooki and Jenni “JWoww” Farley.

A rep for MTV said the network “doesn’t comment on series in production,” while Polizzi’s rep, asked about the New York Post story, told PEOPLE, “No comment.”
