It looks like it will be a moving tribute to the human spirit.

Katy Perry knows how to write an inspiring tune, which is why she released her new single “Rise” for the 2016 Rio Olympics last Friday (July 15). The song will be used for upcoming promotions of the Olympics, but in addition to that Perry is also planning on releasing a music video.

Today (July 22), she teased a preview of that video. “Soon, I will #RISE” she mysteriously tweeted along with a brief clip that showed her walking toward a cliff dragging what looks to be a pink balloon behind her. The video quickly cuts to a lake, where Perry struggles under the weight of that balloon before making her way to the surface and drawing in a deep breath.

No word yet on when the official video will drop, but it looks like it will be a moving tribute to the human spirit. Given her anthemic song “Roar” off Prism, Perry knows exactly how to make music that conveys strength and power. Perfect timing as the world gears up to watch athletes compete on behalf of their countries.

Perry later released a second video teaser, which gives fan a closer look at her parachute, and lets them know the video will be released on August 4th.

Check out the previews below.
